Adding. Or nuancing, I’d say, “the cure for pain includes being in relationship with the pain.” Or growing that relationship. Or learning to be honest with that relationship. Or sharing the honesty of it with others — bringing authenticity that invites others to bring more of their authenticity.
I’m on a theme lately that I find cohering such thinking. “All of life is relationship.” Many have said it over the years. Many traditions have grounded in it over the centuries and millenniums.
As it has been in so many circumstances, health and well-being is added when we don’t deny.
