There are times in my life
when I feel that all I want to do
is return to the poets
for their simple truth-telling offerings.
Because I want to feel more of the stillness,
and beauty,
of which they speak.
Rumi is one of the people that I return to,
when I feel this way,
in his 13th century Persian times.
Enjoy this below from Rumi. I am.
The way he encourages us to the heart.
And may there be good surrendering
to what lives in the inner
yet so wants to be alive in the outer.

There is a life-force within your soul,
seek that life.
There is a gem in the mountain of your body,
seek that mine.
O traveller,
if you are in search of that,
don’t look outside,
look inside yourself
and seek that.
