It’s all story — this is one of my core life learnings.
At times, this awareness has created fear. Crumbling that comes with preferred certainties weakened.
But this gives way, also, often, to unbounded freedom and the delight that is light shining.
And so, these simple words this morning, the last Tuesday in July. As I listen a little extra to the trees and sunlight.
Do not fear;
Life wishes your company.
And celebrates you
just as your heart is.
Do not fear;
Life wishes your company.
And celebrates you
just as your heart is.
I woke curled into myself, head aching, heart puzzling over the losses an inevitable result of letting go. Because letting come has not yet arrived.
But Tenneson’s words arrived. And my body inhaled deeply, without my willing it. And Life beckoned, embracing my curled up body. Celebrating the letting go and the small grief of it all and the spaciousness of saoirse-becoming.
