Nicole is one of my favorite writers. And favorite farmers. This recent post — it touches so much of what I love about her being and seeing in the world. Her appreciation of the world’s big things, small things, hard things, beautiful things.
I’ve been thinking much lately about how I live (and don’t) an appreciative life. Paying attention. Being astonished (thx Mary Oliver). Nicole is one of the best that I know that embodies such living.
