Flourishing

I returned yesterday to my home in Utah, after many days of travel, connection, and delight with people that I love. I returned with some added curiosity and excitement of what my garden plants would look life and how they had changed over the time. One, most delightful, was this planted pot of kale. Rich. Vibrant. Flourishing. Ready for picking.

To flourish — this is attractive invitation, isn’t it. As people. As communities. As individuals seeking to live meaningful and contributing lives.

To flourish — this is also helpful description of the travels I just experienced. Meeting old friends, new friends. Meeting in a geography that invites openness and community. Meeting to welcome a harvest of coherence together, of connection together that grows nutritious thinking, feeling, imagination, and insight.

To flourish, like kale —
it is a vibrant celebration of living
in pots
and among such good people,
a celebration of learning
that inspires more learning,
leading,
loving,
living.

Grateful.

    1. Thx Karen — yup, “circle culture.” Yup, “connection culture.” Yup, “circle practice.” Yup, “connection practice.” It’s a rather inner + outer world, isn’t it.
